Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a good December so far! Only one school week left until break!!
Just wanted to remind everyone: we have a guild meeting this Tuesday, December 13! We are going to have a meeting during lunch AND after school so take your pick as to which one will work best for you. We will continue to offer both meeting times after break as well. Please pass this info around because many people have told me they are interested in joining but are unable to attend after school meetings. I’d like these people to experience some AHG awesomeness too!!!
This meeting will be a short (important) one but feel free to bring extra food (or anything else you deem appropriate) to celebrate the approaching holiday season!

Just a reminder: the lecture, “Caravaggio: A Life Sacred and Profane” by Andrew Graham-Dixon, is happening at the Kimbell Art Museum tomorrow night at 6 PM.
Since so many people are traveling for the holidays and we are still getting our group organized, this is not an “official” field trip. You are free to go and come as you please! If anyone wants to go but can’t find a ride, please contact me ASAP! Thanks!

Hello, guild members! Just an update to inform you that our next meeting will take place at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, November 8 in Rm 121 at the Senior High. Agendas will be available afterward (in the same room) if you are unable to attend or have any questions about dates for upcoming events. Please bring Guild Council Sign-Up Forms and any ideas for the Guild Coat of Arms/T-Shirt designs (and be prepared to discuss both during the meeting)! Thanks so much!

If you’re looking to place membership with the guild, you will need to fill out the Member Sign-Up sheet. Please be aware that parental consent is required in order to fully complete this form.
If you’re interested in running for a position on the guild council, you will need to fill out the Council Sign-Up sheet. It should be turned in by the specified deadline (TBA) and will be evaluated by our guild sponsor.
If you want more information about our guild, you may want to read the official welcome handout. It provides a basic summary of our group, including our planned activities and why we call ourselves a guild.

Our first official guild meeting will be held at 3:45 PM on Tuesday, October 18 in Mr. Johnston’s room (Rm 121) at the Senior High! This meeting will be very generalized, mostly introducing the expectations and concepts of the guild and its activities. Sign-ups for the guild council election (or any other documents you may require) will also be available. Snacks will be provided!
For masters of the guild:
We will have an “informal” meeting during lunch at 1:15 PM on Thursday, October 13 in Mr. J’s room! This is going to be very casual and aimed at gathering opinions from the veterans of last year’s class. Interest was shown last year about forming an art history club so please look over the information in your invitation packet and come with feedback on our attempt to get one started!
